To improve venous circulation in the limbs of patients suffering from DVT, this is a serious disorder with an estimated annual incidence of one per 1,000 persons per year and a lifetime incidence of 2% to 5%.The major outcomes include mortality, thromboembolism and bleeding.
Product Design and Silent Features
EPSE consists of two parts: one a wearable unit that consists of a set of bladders (foot/ ankle or calf) and an external pumping unit connected to the former through a hose. The bladders are inflated and deflated sequentially maintaining the pressure which can be set (20 to 100 mmHg).Alarms and other safety provisions are made.
