    A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by the Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) and the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) to set up a Medical Devices Park at the Life Science Park premises that was developed by KSIDC in Thiruvananthapuram.
